I have been featured in this weeks Folksy Friday on the Folksy Blog - how exciting!

With a 'Summer Loving' theme to the chosen items, it was one of my seaside necklaces from the Original Minnie Ahoy There range that was featured.

Now we are already into April, I must update my Folksy SHOP over the next week to include some of the new Felt Bib Necklaces I've made for 2010. I will also add the new range of Original Minnie recycled Notepads and Basic range of cards.

Original Minnie now has two events confirmed for 2010, and it will be a DOUBLE WHAMMY weekend...

I will be attending Leicester Handmade Craft Fair on Saturday 6th March, and then Arts and Crafts for Spring in Lincolnshire on Sunday 7th March!

The Leicester Handmade Craft Fair will be held at Fabrika - an Independant Arts Centre with its own Gallery space, and Coffee Bar - always useful for a quick cuppa!

Why not pop along to either event, and have a look for some pressies and cards in time for Mothers Day, or just to treat yourself?

The first event for Original Minnie in 2010 has been confirmed!

I will be attending Arts and Crafts for Spring on Sunday 7th March 2010. It is being held at Petwood Hotel - an attractive Victorian building set in acres of gardens. (In the Second World War it was used as the officers mess for the Dambusters!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! I am looking forward to 2010, believing it will bring exciting new designs, creations and opportunities for Original Minnie.

I am hoping to do several events in 2010 - I have some in the planning stages at the moment - so keeping checking here on the News page or the BLOG (opens a new window) Events page for more details as they are confirmed.

In the meantime, here's to 2010! ...

Original Minnie celebrates its 1st Birthday this week!

THANK YOU to all the people who have followed and supported Original Minnie growing over its 1st year, and here's to an even bigger and better 2nd year!

To coincide with the anniversary I've just had some new business cards printed, which feature some of my favourite jewellery creations so far... To see a photo go to the BLOG (opens a new window).

Well, it's coming to the end of the summer now and I'm starting to plan some autumn / winter events for Original Minnie to attend, and I've now confirmed the first one!

I will post dates and information about events as I get them here on the News page in the left column, and in more detail on my BLOG in the Events page (opens in a new window...).

So keep checking to see whether Original Minnie will be at an event near you this autumn...

I have just added a new date to the summertime events Original Minnie will be attending. In less than two weeks now I will be in the beautiful historic town of Stamford, Lincolnshire - their Arts and Craft Market is now in its seventh year.

After making some new designs for the Clutter City event last weekend, I will be taking those and some of the "old favourites" along to Stamford.

Over the past few weeks I have been busy making new pieces of jewellery, some of which were purchased yesterday at the Purely Jewellery event! I find it really exciting when a new design sells for the first time.
